Questions about minor procedures

I had a scooter accident — can you help?
Yes. Road grazes and minor injuries are very common in Bali. We clean and dress wounds, place sutures if needed, and advise on tetanus protection and aftercare. For serious injuries or heavy bleeding, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital first.
Can you remove stitches placed elsewhere?
Yes. If you had stitches placed at another clinic or hospital, we can check the wound and remove the stitches when it has healed enough. Bring any paperwork you were given so the doctor knows when and how the wound was closed.
Will I need a tetanus shot?
Wounds from dirty surfaces, animal contact, or deep cuts may need tetanus protection. The doctor will check your vaccination history and advise whether a tetanus vaccination or booster is recommended as part of your treatment.
