Quick answers about appointments, services, insurance, and care for international patients.
General
Does Sehati Family Clinic have English-speaking doctors?
Yes. All general practitioners at Sehati Family Clinic conduct consultations in English. We also speak Bahasa Indonesia. Our team includes doctors with international training experience serving expats, digital nomads, and tourists in Sanur, Bali.
Where is the clinic located?
Sehati Family Clinic is in Sanur, on the southeast coast of Bali, close to Denpasar. Sanur is a quieter, family-friendly area popular with expats and long-stay visitors. You can find directions and a map on our contact page, or message us on WhatsApp.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome during clinic hours. Messaging us first on WhatsApp helps us confirm a doctor is available and reduces your waiting time. Same-day appointments are usually possible for general consultations, and we will always try to fit in urgent concerns.
What are your opening hours?
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 17:00. Hours can change on public holidays, so message us on WhatsApp if you need to confirm availability for a specific day.
Which languages do you speak?
Our doctors and staff speak English and Bahasa Indonesia, and some team members speak additional languages. We focus on clear communication so that expats, tourists, and local families all understand their diagnosis and treatment plan without a language barrier.
Services
What services does the clinic provide?
We provide general practice, medical check-ups, vaccinations and travel medicine, telemedicine, home visits, minor procedures, paediatric and women's health, laboratory tests, and tourist care. See our services pages for details, or message us on WhatsApp if you are not sure which service you need.
Can I book a telemedicine consultation from outside Bali?
Yes. Telemedicine consultations are available via WhatsApp or video call for patients planning travel to Bali or for follow-ups after clinic visits. Message us on WhatsApp to confirm your preferred consultation time and the doctor's availability.
What areas in Bali do your home-visit doctors cover?
Our home-visit and doctor-on-call service covers Sanur, Denpasar, Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, and Kuta. Contact us via WhatsApp with your exact location to confirm availability and estimated arrival time. Additional distance fees may apply outside the Sanur area.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We see children for common illnesses such as fever, coughs, ear infections, and stomach upsets, and offer general well-child advice and vaccinations. If your child is too unwell to travel, a doctor can visit your accommodation within our coverage area.
Can you provide vaccinations and a vaccination record?
Yes. We offer routine and travel vaccinations and give you a written vaccination record afterwards. Message us with your travel plans or which vaccines you need so we can confirm availability and plan the right schedule before your visit.
Insurance & Billing
Do you provide receipts for travel insurance reimbursement?
Yes. Sehati Family Clinic provides itemized receipts and medical documentation suitable for travel insurance reimbursement. Please inform the receptionist of your insurer when registering so we can prepare the correct paperwork at no additional charge.
Do you accept BPJS Kesehatan?
Yes. Sehati Family Clinic accepts BPJS Kesehatan for eligible services. Please bring your BPJS card and KTP when you visit. Contact us on WhatsApp to confirm BPJS eligibility for your specific service before attending.
How much do consultations cost?
Our pricing page lists starting-from fees for each service in IDR, with indicative foreign-currency amounts. All transactions are settled in Indonesian Rupiah, and final fees are confirmed at the time of service. Message us if you would like a price for a specific service.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, card, and bank transfer, and BPJS Kesehatan for eligible services. If you are claiming on private or travel insurance, we provide itemized receipts and documentation. Tell us your insurer when you register so we prepare the right paperwork.
International Patients
I'm an expat — can Sehati be my regular family doctor?
Yes. Many of our patients are expats and long-stay residents who use us as their regular family clinic. We provide continuity of care, keep your records, manage ongoing conditions, and offer telemedicine follow-ups so you can reach a familiar doctor whenever you need one.
Do you have an international patient coordinator?
Yes. Our International Patient Coordinator assists expats, long-stay tourists, and digital nomads with appointment scheduling, insurance documentation, English-language consultation, and referrals to specialist hospitals when needed. Message us on WhatsApp and we will connect you with the coordinator.
Can you refer me to a specialist or hospital?
Yes. As a general and family clinic, we assess your concern and refer you to trusted specialists and hospitals when a higher level of care is needed. We can help coordinate your referral and share your relevant medical information with the receiving provider.
I'm planning a trip to Bali — can I get advice before I arrive?
Yes. Through telemedicine, an English-speaking doctor can give pre-travel advice, discuss vaccinations, and answer health questions before you arrive in Bali. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange a convenient time, allowing for any difference in time zones.
Emergencies & Urgent Care
What should I do in a medical emergency?
For life-threatening emergencies — such as severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, heavy bleeding, or loss of consciousness — call 112 or go to the nearest hospital immediately. Sehati Family Clinic is a general and family clinic and is not an emergency department.
Can I get same-day or urgent care?
Yes. We keep room for same-day appointments and will try to prioritise urgent but non-emergency concerns. Message us on WhatsApp describing your symptoms and we will advise whether a clinic visit, home visit, or immediate hospital care is the safest option for you.
